SECURITY OPERATIONS
COURSE |

Introduction
This Four day course is designed to
assist companies in the provision of
basic job training and to develop a
uniform standard across the industry.
The course content complies with the
recommended training syllabus in the
British Standard for BS7499:2002 -
Static site guarding and mobile patrol
services. It will also provide the
underpinning knowledge required to
achieve standard recognised by the
Security Industry Authority. The course
is available to companies either through
attendance on courses run by a
recognised training provider.
Who Will Benefit?
This BJT is appropriate to new entrants
to the industry; people transferring
from other security functions, as well
as those whose job includes some
security elements.

Part 1 –

Course Outcomes
On completion of this course, candidates
will have achieved the required level of
knowledge and understanding in the areas
listed in the modules above. You will
also be awarded a Level 2 Certificate in
Security Operations.
Assessment
The assessment is by way of two
eternally set and marked Multiple choice
examinations.
